Four of the party dead.
After crossing the swamp on raft was a bust we've decided to take a look at that Arena.
The building is of amazing construction, wonder why the swamp doesn't grow over it.
Couple of us went inside to see what we could and it looked pretty boring until we saw the stadium. There was hundreds of dead skeletons scattered around the seats. They wasn't freshly dead or nothing, old bones and old clothes.
One skeleton was inside the sandy pit and he had him a golden sword.
The guy with the ladder said he wanted it and promptly lowered himself in.
That's went the whole world went crazy.
There was this glass ball up high that started sparking with lightning. Before we know anything all the doors and exits was closed with a lightning wall.
We heard some cheering screams start coming closer.
My heart nearly burst from my chest. I was so scared of what's coming I jumped into the pit. Couple of the lads all jumped in too, which for some wasn't too brilliant as they fell and hurt themselves.
What came next only got worse. We was split in two groups, thems up above in the seats stood looking around like they wanted to run only they didn't want to jump in. Couple more come down the ladder.
Us down below didn't know what to do next, until these metal balls started shooting out of the wall at us. That urchin kid took the fall in a bad way and then took a metal ball to the head. Ripped open like a ripe melon.
I looked back up at the seating, wishing I'd never come down into this pit and see the eeriest sights. Some kind of whisps was moving around, I think it was them jeering at us. And that's when the rest of the lot jumped in, almost like they was being pushed.
Stay up, go down, none of us know where to run.
I look about and I see the first guy got his golden sword and now him and a couple are running towards a spiked wall in the middle. They're jumping up and over. But this spike wall is a machine, it keeps jabbing out spears that are as long as my arm. When the dog tried to jump over he took a vicious cut, that's the kind that would kill a man.
If it wasn't bad enough, these balls keep shooting out so more of us run towards the middle. Two more guys get gutted by the spikes.
We got to get out of here.
I don't know where I'm going but I know I can't stay here, so I jump inside the spike wall too. But I don't know if this was a good idea either.
I'm inside and it's smooth as ice and so I'm sliding towards a hole that's covered in lightning wall.
But I don't know that it's any safer outside. I just seen more of those same monsters jump into the pit too. Was six of them but one of them got killed by a ball. Couple of our group stood their ground in front of the monsters.
This is all happening too fast.
I slid off the edge and as I'm falling towards the lightning I see the golden sword slash out and hit the wall, a carving in the wall that looks like a wicked tree. And just then the lightning is gone...
And I fall into the darkness.
