We got to the swamp.
Bunch of crazy people I'm here with.
I saw a big golden building in the distance but everyone wanted to go a different way.
Look, we came here for riches. We can go towards the palace and probably pick up a chalice off the floor or we can walk into the dank swamp.
But, strength in numbers, so I followed them deeper into the swamp.
We had a battle
We were walking through some tall grass and we got set upon by some strange creatures. They were lying down low and then stood, tall as a man. They were running at us screaming even before I knew they were there.
Guess my crazies aren't so bad.
A couple of them took a single swing at the monsters and killed them with one hit.
I think what disturbs me the most is this dog. I've been petting him and letting him have some scraps. When the monsters attacked us this dog jumps in and rips a bite out of one of 'em. That dog is a killer. I feel safer with my crazies than I do around the dog now. He attacked the monsters before I knew what was happening, maybe he'll just attack me when I'm at meal.
It was a close one though. One of the guys got his head bashed in. We took his stuff and parceled it out.
We found the monsters camp just a short way from the battle. They were cooking dinner when we stumbled upon them. I dunno what they was cooking though. The meat was so burned it could have been a man or a monster.
A couple of my crazies helped themselves to the roast. Ain't nobody got sick from it. Guess it was alright. But I couldn't stomach it.
We looked around their camp and found some drinks, 2-copper droppers someone called it. They said it wasn't ale, called it wine. They handed out the bottles but I didn't get one, so no idea what it tastes like.
Right next to the camp we found a lake and a raft.
Two of the guys poled the raft out into the fog. They went pretty far but then came back cause they couldn't see nothing.
